BLOG: Health Wonk Review Highlights Best of the Blogs

October 20th, 2006

We wanted to alert Health Affairs blog readers to the Health Wonk Review. This biweekly compendium of the best of the health policy blogs was founded by Joe Paduda of Managed Care Matters and Matthew Holt of The Health Care Blog. More than two dozen health policy, infrastructure, insurance, technology, and managed care bloggers contribute their best recent blog postings to a roving biweekly digest, with each issue hosted at a different participant’s blog. It’s a great introduction to what’s hot in the health care blog world. The current edition is hosted on Ezra Klein’s blog.

It’s great to see how libraries are increasingly providing access to a wide range of e-resources. I can’t take any credit for the Health Wonk Review, however. The kudos go to Joe Paduda at Managed Care Matters and Matthew Holt at for getting the review going, and to all the health care bloggers for hosting the roving review.

It’s amazing to see that the number of blogs has been doubling every 6 months and is now past 50 million. It definitely helps to have navigation tools through the blogosphere.

Just a short thank you. Your round-up of health care blogs is an excellent reference and resource for medical and health sciences libraries.
