BLOG: Top 10 Health Affairs Blog Posts For October And November

December 3rd, 2007

Over the past two months, highly read posts on the Health Affairs Blog looked at President Bush’s veto of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), a new report from the Congressional Budget Office on health spending trends, analysis of the number of uninsured Americans, and discussion of health reform solutions. Posts with a global health focus also attracted many readers. Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS) discussed newly passed legislation to provide new incentives for pharmaceutical firms to develop treatments for diseases affecting impoverished populations around the globe. And a group of international scholars wrote a two-part blog looking at the U.S. health care system and offering their comments on what they found—and what they’d change.
