Berwick, Williams To Speak At The National Health Policy Conference
January 27th, 2011
The success of health reform depends on the efforts of both the public and private sectors. At the 2011 National Health Policy Conference (NHPC), newly confirmed speakers include leading players in both of those realms. Don Berwick, the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, will kick off the conference. And Ronald Williams, chairman and chief executive officer of Aetna, Inc., will help close out the conference’s first day by discussing how the health reform will reinvent health insurance.
The NHPC will be held on Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, February 8 in Washington, D.C. In addition to Berwick and Williams, the conference, cosponsored by Health Affairs and AcademyHealth, will feature many other top policy makers, policy experts, and industry and consumer leaders.
