Dr. Peter Friedmann is the Chief Research Officer at Baystate Health and the Associate Dean for Research at University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate. He is a professor of Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate and a Professor of Quantitative Health Sciences at University of Massachusetts Medical School. He received his B.A. from Boston University and his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in primary care at Montefiore Medical Center, in the Bronx, NY and received an MPH from Harvard School of Public Health. He completed a General Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and New England Deaconess Hospital, in Boston, MA.
