Andrew Goodman-Bacon is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Vanderbilt University. His research evaluates the short- and long-term effects of social and health policies, including Medicaid, initiated under the War on Poverty. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan and was a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of California, Berkeley. @agoodmanbacon
