Jeff Lemieux (Inforum/University of Maryland) is an economist specializing in health care, public finance, and, most recently, transportation and community economic development. He has testified before the House Ways and Means Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, and other committees in Congress on Medicare reform, tax-based proposals to expand access to health coverage, chronic care management, and other topics. Prior positions include research positions at the Medicare Office of the Actuary, the Congressional Budget Office, the National Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare, the Progressive Policy Institute, America’s Health Insurance Plans, and CAQH.
