As the southeast executive director for Aledade, Nadine Robin provides support and technical guidance to independent health care providers in achieving quality-focused, value-based, and patient-centric care for their patients. She leads activities related to provider-focused education and training, and assists providers in the development of strategic plans, resources, and activities to improve performance. In addition, Robin promotes the goals and objectives of the accountable care organization (ACO) model to drive provider engagement in the ACO model, and plays a key role in the development of relationships with health care professional organizations and policy makers to advance the organization’s role in the local health care market. Prior to joining Aledade, Robin served as the health information technology (IT) program director for the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum. In this role, she was responsible for integrating the needs of the health IT program’s goals and objectives with state and federal agencies as well as with partnering organizations, groups, and associations. During her time with the Quality Forum, she developed extensive experience in meaningful use, electronic health record adoption/implementation, patient engagement, and health information exchange advancement. Robin is a past-president of the Louisiana Chapter of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society and has served on that organization’s board of directors since 2013. She is also a committee member of the advisory board of the Masters in Health Informatics Program at Louisiana Tech and serves on the board of the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians Foundation.
