Charles L. Rice, MD, FACS is Professor of Surgery and President of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Prior to coming to USU in 2005, he served in faculty and leadership roles at the University of Chicago, the University of Washington and the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs. His specialty is trauma and critical care surgery.
