Melissa Romaire, PhD, MPH, is a health services researcher in RTI International’s Health Coverage for Low-Income and Uninsured Populations program. Dr. Romaire’s research focuses on evaluating innovations in primary care, delivery system redesign, access to care, and preventive service use, with a particular focus on Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) recipients. Dr. Romaire previously worked for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). At CMS, she assisted states in the administration of their CHIP and Medicaid reproductive health programs.
