Joanne Schottinger, MD, is a practicing medical oncologist and the Assistant Medical Director for Quality and Clinical Analysis for the Kaiser Permanente Southern California (KPSC) organization. She chairs the KPSC Regional Cancer Committee and directs the organization’s cancer program and its SEER-affiliated cancer registry. She also oversees the development of cancer screening outreach programs and shared decision making materials and processes. For the national Kaiser Permanente program, which currently serves almost 11 million patients, she is the clinical lead for cancer for the Care Management Institute.
