Matthew Seigerman is a third-year resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and was an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in health care management at the Wharton School of Business and Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences. Seigerman’s research is focused on prediction and risk modeling in advanced heart failure therapies, specifically heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices. He is applying for a cardiology fellowship in the fall.
