Ernest Sohn is a chief data scientist in Booz Allen’s Data Solutions and Machine Intelligence group. He has more than 10 years of experience developing and implementing data science and analytics capabilities—including predictive analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, operations research, and data visualization—for improving business processes and decision making. Sohn leads solution development and delivery primarily for federal and commercial health organizations including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Military Health System, the Food and Drug Administration, and commercial health care delivery systems. Sohn also leads research and innovation projects with emerging health technologies and data sources such as electronic health records, mobile health, IoT sensors, and consumer wearables. He holds a Master of Science in systems and information engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign.
