Travis Broome is the vice president of health care policy at Aledade Inc., a new company helping doctors to deliver quality, personalized care to their patients; stay independent; and thrive in the transition to value-based care. Today, he is a thought leader on accountable care and supports Aledade leadership and teams through strategy development, policy analysis, and economic modeling. Broome joined Aledade shortly after its formation and has helped it grow to 15 accountable care organizations (ACOs) covering more than 200,000 people in the Medicare Shared Savings Program and commercial contracts. From business development with both practices and payers, to early population health analytics, to serving as executive director for the Aledade Louisiana ACO, he has touched every part of Aledade as it has grown. Prior to Aledade, Broome spent seven years at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Joining CMS as a presidential management fellow, he served as the lead analyst for the Electronic Health Record Incentive Programs. He spent his final year at CMS as the regional director for Part A and Part B operations for the Dallas, Texas-based Region VI. Broome earned his Master of Public Health and Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
