Vidya Viswanathan is a second-year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the founder and president of Doctors Who Create (www.doctorswhocreate.com), an organization that promotes creativity and humanism in medicine. She freelance writes about medicine and innovation, and has published in “The Atlantic” and Medtech Boston. She received her BA in social studies and a citation in Mandarin Chinese from Harvard College.
